There's a Full Moon Tonight

If you haven't heard by now, the Theater Fire was featured on NPR yesterday. Visit the site to hear it.

Bobby Ewing Recommended Nighttime Activities

Dirty on Purpose at Hailey's in Denton. Cover is $7 and well worth it. Pick up their latest CD if you like that early 1990s shoegazing sound. We do.

The Rentals and Ozma at the Gypsy Tea Room. Cover is $18. Dallas' by way of San Antonio's own Sara Radle plays with the Rentals now, if you haven't heard, which we're sure you have.

Fishing for Comets/Alamo Jet/Macon Greyson all at Club Dada.

Carlos Guedes at the Brooklyn Jazz Cafe in Dallas. Cost is free. Here's the description from his Web site:

"Carlos plays a custom-made electro-acoustic harp, but his music presents a powerful live act combining a unique blend of Contemporary Latin Jazz with Afro-Caribbean and Brazilian Rhythms. The Carlos Guedes three piece instrumental high-energy group plays his original compositions backed up by a drummer and a percussionist.
The Bass player is his left hand on the harp."
